Welcome to Champs Sports Bar in Washington. It has been great to see you all back in the pub and the support shown by our customers has been fantastic.
At the entrance to Champs we have a sanitising station and many throughout the premises, we ask all our customers to please use them regularly and particularly upon entry. You will be asked to leave your details for the NHS track and trace system and due to a rise in cases in the local area we will now be asking everyone to have their temperature checked upon arrival. Anyone refusing will unfortunately be refused entry.
At Champs we have always had a SIX-person limit on group sizes and as the law is now changing to reflect this, we will continue to enforce this. Anyone arriving in larger groups will be refused entry and will NOT be seated at separate tables.
We ask all parents to keep their children seated at all times (other than toilet visits) in the internal and external areas, we appreciate this is something that is quite difficult to do but we have the safety of our staff to consider.
When you are in Champs, we encourage you to order from our APP and full table service will be provided. If not possible then you are more than welcome to visit the bar following all socially distanced queuing systems that we have in place.
We ask all our customers NOT to move chairs and tables as they have all been set out to protect the safety of our staff and customers alike and we remind you to remain seated as much as possible.
Bookings are NOT being taking and all tables are on a first come first serve basis, at busy times you may be required to queue outside.
We ask that all our staff are treated with respect and anyone abusing them will be refused service. Please remember we didn’t set these rules we are just tasked with enforcing them.
We ask everyone to do their bit in ensuring Champs is a safe environment for you to enjoy, if everyone follows the rules then sometime in the future we can return to normal. If you have any concerns or see something we could improve on, then please ask to speak to a member of the management team.

Our food menu is available in full and our drinks range has been expanded so why not try one of our very popular hanging kebabs with a Pink Gin Martini or a God Father burger with a nice refreshing pint of Corona.
Our 36 TVs have been updated and as usual we will be showing all the live sport including the EUROs from the 11th June 2021. Will England make it to the final? We certainly hope so!
Restrictions are still in place and we ask everyone to follow the rules! Track and trace is mandatory for anyone over the age of 16 so please have the NHS COVID 19 app on your phone to assist our staff in making check-in as smooth as possible. Anyone not complying will unfortunately be refused entry.
Face covering (covering your mouth and nose) are compulsory when entering and moving around the venue so please remember to bring one with you!
Champs is operating with the rule of SIX both indoors and out so please don’t attempt to arrive in bigger groups as entry will be refused.
Priority service will be given to those who order via the QR codes on your table or via the APP, no additional service or card charges will be applied. We are happy to take cash, but your order will have to be placed with a member of the team.
We hope Boris lifts all remaining restrictions in the very near future but in the meantime please show a little patience and respect to our staff as these rules are not something set by us!
